Dear participants of POLIFEST,

We hope this email finds you well. Aġenzija Żgħażagħ is excited to host you this evening at the Dolmen Hotel, Bugibba for the POLIFEST event with youth organisations marking the celebrations of Europe Day and the European Youth Week.

POLIFEST is the space where young people will take the floor and advice our policy makers on matters that affect them, what needs to be created and what needs to be changed to better reach their potential. Tomorrow’s event will be presenting recommendations formulated by young people and youth organisations through a series of 9 meetings bringing together around 550 young people aged 15 upwards and hailing from different settings in Malta and Gozo through the project Polifest.  During this event young people will be discussing these recommendations with various candidates of the upcoming EU Parliament elections.

Think about:

Young people have developed recommendations to policy makers on the basis on 3 different pillars:

Pillar 1 – Celebrating Youth — Recommendation to policy makers on the considerations that should be taken into account when formulating youth policy

Pillar 2 – Celebrating Democracy — A recommendation on the contribution of NGOs to the democratisation of society

Pillar 3 – Celebrating Life — A recommendation to policy makers on how to address the challenges being faced by young people

The Europe Day celebration is being held as part of the European Youth Week Celebrations. The event puts the project Polifest, funded through Erasmus +, in a pan European context. ‘POLIFEST’ has the aim of being a solid body of discussion of young people with policy makers feeding directly in the review of the National Youth Policy Towards 2020.

What do you need to bring?

Just yourselves! And your will to make new friendships, participate, discuss, listen and exchange ideas!

Time of the event:
